The Presidents of Russia and Kazakhstan - Vladimir Putin and Kassam-Jomart Tokayev, held a telephone conversation. During it, preparations for the upcoming state visit of the President of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation were discussed.
The heads of state noted the special importance of the upcoming negotiations in Moscow for the further development of the strategic partnership and allied relations between the two countries.
Some aspects of the current world situation were also touched upon.
During the Second Kazakh-Russian Media Forum, Dmitry Peskov, Press Secretary of the President of Russia, stated that the Russian side is looking forward to the first state visit of the President of Kazakhstan to Russia.
