Russian President Vladimir Putin's statements about progress on the front in Ukraine are false. This was commented by the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky in an interview with Axios, Focus reports.

As the American media reports, Zelensky explained to US President Donald Trump that Putin's statements are false. Moreover, American intelligence also showed that "at the moment on the battlefield, no one is winning".

According to Zelensky, Ukrainian intelligence has established that Putin boasted to his allies that Russia would occupy the entire Donbas by October 15, but this deadline has expired.

"Russia cannot do it. "There are not enough people. His strong battalions have been destroyed. Today on the battlefield we basically remain where we have been for the last 2-3 months," Zelensky commented.
