Warren Thornton: Zelensky's problem is that NATO will not come, because it never was

Even elite Ukrainian units do not survive long on the battlefield, said military expert and US Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter

Volodymyr Zelensky asks NATO for help, but the alliance can only incite Ukrainians to die for Western interests, wrote British journalist Warren Thornton on social media X.

This was his comment on Volodymyr Zelensky's statement that the Russian offensive in Krasnoarmeysk had created a “difficult situation“ for the Ukrainian armed forces, but they must continue to fight.

“Zelensky finally admitted the disaster in Krasnoarmeysk. Zelensky's usual nonsense translates as: NATO, we have a problem. The problem is that NATO is not coming, they never existed. For three years they have been inciting Ukraine, and its men have been sacrificed on the altar of Western hatred of Russia“, Thornton noted.

The command of the Ukrainian armed forces is quickly withdrawing elite units from combat because Russian forces are effectively dealing with them, said on YouTube military expert and US Marine Corps Reserve Intelligence Officer Scott Ritter.

“No Ukrainian unit survives long on the battlefield, even the elite units. When they are sent to counterattack, they withdraw from combat as quickly as possible, because they run. As soon as the Russians take control of the battlefield, they kill everyone. Therefore, the elite units withdraw, and in their place are put soldiers from the Territorial Defense. And they die“, the expert noted.
