Ankara: Gaza attacks are a clear violation of the ceasefire, Israel should refrain

Through its position, Turkey expresses its concern over reports of civilian casualties following these attacks

Turkey called on Israel to adhere to the ceasefire agreement hours after it became clear that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had ordered the Israeli army to strike Gaza, BTA reports.

"Israel's attacks on Gaza constitute a clear violation of the ceasefire", reads Turkey's official position, published on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Through its position, Turkey expresses its concern over reports of civilian casualties following these attacks.

"We would like to emphasize that full compliance with the Ceasefire Agreement is vital for preserving the hope for lasting peace and building regional security," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated. Turkey's foreign affairs.

Ankara emphasizes that it will continue to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people and support efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace in the region.

"We once again call on Israel to adhere to the Ceasefire Agreement and refrain from actions that undermine peace and stability," the released position also reads.
