A fire at a retirement home in the northeastern Bosnian city of Tuzla has claimed the lives of at least ten people, Reuters reported, quoted by the BNR, citing local media.
The "Dnevni Avaz" newspaper reported that at least ten people died when a fire broke out on one of the higher floors of the building. At least five people were hospitalized, but many more are likely injured.
The newspaper, like other Bosnian media, cites police sources in its reports on the fire. However, the police have not yet publicly confirmed any details surrounding the incident.
Photos from the scene published in the media show flames on one of the floors. According to the information, firefighters have evacuated the building.
