Russian air defense forces shot down 75 Ukrainian drones over regions of Russia, the Russian Defense Ministry said, quoted by TASS, BTA reported.
"This night, air defense forces on duty intercepted and destroyed 75 Ukrainian unmanned aircraft of the aircraft type: 49 - over the territory of the Volgograd region, (. . .), 6 - over the territory of the Voronezh region, 4 - over the territory of the Rostov region, 3 - over the territory of the Belgorod region, 2 - over the territory of the Oryol region, one each - over the territories of the Moscow, Kursk, Lipetsk and Tambov regions", the Russian ministry said in a statement.
The statement also reported that seven drones were shot down over the Ukrainian Crimean peninsula, which Russia annexed in 2014.
