The military observer of the German newspaper Bild Julian Röpke doubts the claims of the Ukrainian Armed Forces that they cleared the center of Pokrovsk of Russian troops. He commented on the claims of the 425th Regiment on the social network X, Focus writes.

In the publication, he cites a video of the planting of the Ukrainian flag in this area, which was published yesterday by the 425th Separate Assault Regiment "Skelya".

Röpke notes that the Russians never held the center of the city and therefore doubts its clearing by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

"The center of Pokrovsk was – and most likely remains – "under the control of Ukraine. The Russians have never entered this area to carry out an action with the flag. The Ukrainians have never published videos of attacks on Russians in this area," the analyst commented on the situation.
