One person is dead and two are seriously injured in a medical helicopter crash in Wilson County, Tennessee, Vanderbilt University Medical Center said.
“Vanderbilt University Medical Center is saddened to report the crash of a Vanderbilt LifeFlight helicopter in Wilson County, Tennessee. There were three crew members on board, one of whom is deceased and two others are in critical condition,“ VUMC said in a statement on Facebook.
There were no patients on board the helicopter, the medical center said.
The injured are being treated at Vanderbilt University Hospital.
