11 people hospitalized after two trains collide in Slovakia

Dozens of passengers suffered minor injuries

Eleven people were taken to hospital after a crash between two trains in Slovakia. There were no fatalities, Reuters reported, citing authorities.

Ten passengers suffered minor injuries, Slovak Interior Minister Matus Sutai Estock said at the scene of the crash. He said one train hit the other from behind on the section between Bratislava and Pezinok, 20 kilometers northeast of the capital.

This is the second rail accident in Slovakia in the past month, Reuters notes. Ninety-one people were injured in a collision between two trains in the east of the country on October 13.
