US President Donald Trump believes that only a "deal from a position of strength" will help the White House establish good relations with Beijing, said "Fox News".
"In my first term, I imposed tariffs on hundreds of billions of dollars (...) The only way to establish good relations with China is to make a deal from a position of strength," Trump said in an interview with "Fox News".
According to him, he has a good relationship with President Xi Jinping in Beijing and with China in general.
"We have incredible power thanks to the tariffs and thanks to the fact that I rebuilt the military.
They have a lot of missiles, but we have a lot of them, and the authorities in Beijing don't want to mess with us," Donald Trump emphasized.
