Ukrainian forces report destroying 91 drones launched by Russia overnight

The Ukrainian Air Force reported this morning on the Telegram app that it destroyed two Russian Kinzhal ballistic missiles and 91 drones overnight, Ukrinform reported, BTA reported.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russian forces attacked Ukraine tonight with three Kinzhal missiles and 135 Shahed, Gerbera and other drones.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. According to preliminary data, two "Dagger" missiles and 91 drones, the statement said.

One missile and 41 drones hit their targets in 13 locations in Ukraine. The attack is ongoing, the Ukrainian Air Force added.

Meanwhile, the head of the military administration of the Dnepropetrovsk region, Vladislav Khaivanenko, reported that several fires broke out in the city of Dnipro (Dnepr in Russian) after an attack by Russian drones. A 65-year-old man died as a result of the strikes.

The fires affected an unused building and a car. Damage was recorded to private properties, a five-story residential building, private homes, a gas pipeline and vehicles. A 52-year-old man was injured in the Sinelnikove area, and fires damaged a cultural center and private homes, Khaivanenko said.
