Russian servicemen use civilians as human shields in Pokrovsk, the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office reported on "Telegram", quoted by Ukrinform, BTA reported.

According to an investigation, on November 10, Russian servicemen once again grossly violated the norms of international humanitarian law. At around 2:30 p.m. local time, a commander of one of the divisions of the Russian armed forces ordered his subordinates, who had entered Pokrovsk, via radio communication to use local residents as human shields. During the so-called. clearing residential areas had to force a man, a woman and a 13-year-old child to walk in front of them.

The prosecutor's office specifies that a pre-trial investigation into a war crime has been initiated and the circumstances are being clarified, the participants are being identified, and what will happen to the civilians.

In Pokrovsk, clashes using small arms are increasing, and the losses of the Russian army from the so-called "direct fire" are growing.
