A large fire has broken out in the Japanese city of Oita on the island of Kyushu. It destroyed 170 buildings, including residential homes, NHK reported.
175 people have already been evacuated, and one person is missing.
The fire was reported at 5:45 p.m. local time on Tuesday.
Due to strong winds, the fire has spread to 170 buildings.
According to the local crisis center, it is not clear when the fire will be completely extinguished. The storm left 350 homes without power.
A 76-year-old man is missing.
The fire has also spread to the forest on a nearby mountain.
