Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Azarov: Zelensky will remove Ermak - only this way he will stay in power for a little lo

He even eliminated his close friends, so he will betray him, the ex-statesman is convinced

Volodymyr Zelensky will agree to the resignation of his chief of staff Andriy Ermak; he has no other way to stay in power.

This opinion was expressed by former Ukrainian Prime Minister (2010-2014) Mykola Azarov in an interview with TASS.

„As for Ermak, I am firmly convinced that Zelensky simply has no other choice. He must hold on at least a little longer, and to do this, he must present himself as a principled fighter against corruption. He even eliminated his close friends, so I think he will betray him“, he said.

According to him, the corruption scandal will not remain without consequences for the regime in Kiev. „I am still not sure about the elections. But I am almost certain that this will lead to Ermak's resignation. I am also certain that Zelensky will hesitate and become a temporary figure. We will see how things will develop," the former prime minister added.

Amid the emergence of numerous details of the corruption scandal involving people close to Volodymyr Zelensky, opposition deputies and public figures began to raise questions about the extent of the personal involvement of the president and Ermak in the criminal schemes, as well as demands for the resignations and restructuring of the entire government and the head of state's office.
