Extremists kidnapped 215 students and 12 teachers from Catholic school in Nigeria

Some of the kidnapped managed to escape

Extremists kidnapped 215 students and 12 teachers from Catholic school “St. Mary“ in Nigeria on Friday evening, AFP reported, citing the Christian Association of Nigeria.

According to them, some of the kidnapped students managed to escape.

It is noted that the incident occurred after the government's request to close schools due to numerous attacks by militants, which was ignored by the management of the “St. Mary“ school.

Earlier, the Nigerian television channel Arise reported only 52 abductees as a result of the militants' attack on the school.

On November 19, a group of bandits killed five people in an attack on a church in western Nigeria.

Earlier, a similar incident occurred in the village of Maga, Kebbi state, where bandits kidnapped 24 students.
