Russia has no right to receive concessions from Ukraine, as this provokes aggression. This was stated by the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaia Kallas, quoted by "The Guardian" and "Sky News".

She stressed that lasting peace requires certain conditions and giving in to aggression is dangerous for everyone.

The aggressor cannot be rewarded, as this provokes even greater aggression, warned the EU's top diplomat, pointing out that Russia "has no right" to receive any concessions from Ukraine.

On the sidelines of the EU-Indo-Pacific ministerial forum, Kallas pointed out that "for peace to be sustainable, it must have certain elements".

"If you simply give in to aggression, then you provoke even more aggression, and that is dangerous", she pointed out.

"This is dangerous not only for us in Europe, but also for our Indo-Pacific partners, because all those countries around that may have an appetite for their neighbors' territories will understand that this is good, that it is worth it. And this is a very dangerous moment for everyone,", warned Kallas.

She also touched on the topic of a peace agreement between the United States and Ukraine.

In her words, Russia "has no right" to receive any concessions from Ukraine and that it is Ukraine that must decide what conditions will be attached to the peace agreement.

Both Europe and Ukraine want peace, but they cannot simply give in to aggression, said Kallas.

She had previously said that the EU would support any peace plan for Ukraine if it brought about a lasting and just peace and if it included the participation of Ukraine and the EU.
