Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski summoned the Israeli ambassador today after a post on the social network "Ex" of the Holocaust Memorial Center "Yad Vashem", reported Agence France-Presse and Reuters, quoted by BTA.

"Poland was the first country where Jews were forced to wear a distinctive sign in order to be isolated from the rest of the population," the post reads.

According to the Polish Foreign Minister, the institution did not specify that Poland was occupied by Nazi Germany at the time.

"Despite violent protests from many Polish statesmen, the misleading post was not changed. "That's why I decided to summon the Israeli ambassador to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs," Radoslav Sikorski wrote in "Ex".
