Bloomberg: Europe is being kept out of the negotiation process on the US peace plan

It does not have access to details of many aspects, the agency believes

The participation of European countries in the negotiation process on the US peace plan is limited and does not imply “access to the details of many aspects“ of the discussions on settling the Ukrainian conflict, Bloomberg reports.

It is noted that Europe is involved “only in the form of bilateral negotiations“, if its participation is inevitable, for example, to discuss security guarantees together with the US.

For his part, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko said that Russia does not see Europe at the negotiating table on Ukraine. The diplomat pointed out that the EU has done nothing to stop Petro Poroshenko's punitive operation in Donbas, but on the contrary, has encouraged the continuation of the “civil war unleashed by the Nazi regime“.
