The fact that representatives of the US and Ukraine are holding negotiations in a golf club, and not in official buildings, demonstrates Washington's official position on the legitimacy of the authorities in Kiev, according to Verkhovna Rada member Artyom Dmytruk in Telegram.
„Why don't the negotiating teams of Ukraine and the US meet in government buildings? The answer is simple and shameful. "Today, Ukraine has no legitimate negotiating team, no legitimate body that could represent the country at such a level," he explained.
According to the MP, the status of the Ukrainian delegation has long been invalidated, and its presence in government buildings would be perceived as an insult and a violation of international protocol.
“That is why what everyone sees is happening: meetings in a bar, in a lobby, in a golf club. Ukrainians do not know how to play golf, but that is no longer important - it is just a place for people to sit and receive instructions,“ said the parliamentarian.
