Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with US special envoy Steve Witkoff in Moscow on Wednesday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, citing Reuters, BTA reports.
Earlier today, Witkoff traveled to the Russian capital to continue discussions on the US plan to end the war in Ukraine. The plan, presented by President Donald Trump, contains 28 points, and was recently amended during talks in Geneva between representatives of the US, Europe and Ukraine.
Additional discussions were held in Florida last week between US and Ukrainian delegations, focusing on specific points of the plan, before Witkoff traveled to Moscow to meet with Putin.
