General Sirsky: The purge of Russians continues

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) managed to significantly improve the tactical position directly in Kupyansk, Kharkiv region. This was announced today by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Sirsky, reports Censor.NET.

The situation in the city

Sirsky visited the Ukrainian units of the search and strike and tactical group in Kupyansk and held a meaningful conversation with the command staff.

The Ukrainian military discussed the implementation of measures to stabilize the situation in the Kupyansk region.

The purge of the city

"I heard reports on the operational situation - the information is encouraging. Our units have managed to significantly improve the tactical situation directly in the city. The paths for penetration of the enemy's sabotage and reconnaissance groups are blocked.

The clearing of the territory of Kupyansk from the Russian occupiers, who have "successes" only in the propaganda plane, is underway. We are working to gradually displace the enemy from his bridgehead north of the city, as well as from a number of other areas where the Russians still maintain their presence," the commander-in-chief noted.

Syrsky added that he had given instructions to ensure the needs of the troops, in particular, with additional means to enhance the fire impact on the Russian forces.
