Washington today warned about the risk of "civilizational obliteration in Europe" and stated that if current trends continue, the European continent will be unrecognizable in 20 years or even sooner. The White House issued this warning in a 33-page document defining the US national security strategy and published today.

The French news agency Agence France-Presse has become familiar with the text. The document also calls on the US to restore American superiority in Latin America, BTA reported.

The US wants to end mass migration around the world and make border control a key element of American national security, the text also states.

"The era of mass migration must end. Border security must be a fundamental element of national security, the document said.

“We must defend our country against invasion, not only against uncontrolled migration, but also against cross-border threats such as terrorism, drugs, espionage and human trafficking,“ the document added.

In it, the White House called on Japan and South Korea to do more to support Taiwan's defense against China.

“We must encourage these countries to increase their defense spending, emphasizing the capabilities needed to deter adversaries from attacking Taiwan,“ the document, released today, said.
