Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to India clearly demonstrated that Russia is not isolated, the French television channel France 5 reported.
“Vladimir Putin is traveling to India and clearly demonstrated that Russia is less isolated today than ever. After talks with the American side in the Kremlin, the Russian leader is the one dictating the rules of the game“, the authors note.
According to them, “the signing of numerous agreements between Russia and India in various areas during the visit is a kind of demonstrative response to Western pressure in recent months“.
Putin concluded his two-day state visit to India on December 5. In New Delhi, he held a series of bilateral talks, participated in a Russian-Indian business forum, and laid a wreath at the Mahatma Gandhi monument. A number of bilateral agreements were also signed.
