Two people were injured and at least five private homes were damaged when drone debris fell in the Krasnodar region, the region's emergency response team reported on its Telegram channel.

„Two people were injured and at least five private homes were damaged when drone debris fell in the Slavyansk region. The injured have been hospitalized and are receiving all necessary medical care“, the message said.

Fragments of drones were found in private homes in Slavyansk on the Kuban and the village of Pribrezhny - the roofs were damaged in some homes and the windows were broken. Damage to power lines in the regional center was also reported.

Drone debris was also found in the village of Cheburgolskaya and the hamlets of Protichka and Kryzhanovsky in the Krasnoarmeysky district. Windows and doors were broken out in private homes, and an outbuilding, a shed, a garage and a warehouse were damaged. No injuries were reported.

The artillery of the “Zapad“ group thwarted attempts by the Ukrainian armed forces to approach the Russian-occupied city of Kupyansk, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

"The 121st Motorized Rifle Regiment of the “West“ group, operating in the Kupyansk direction in the Kharkiv region, prevented the movement of groups of the Ukrainian armed forces trying to approach the settlements of Moskovka, Radkovka and Sobolevka in the Kharkiv region“, the statement said.

During aerial reconnaissance, operators of a drone unit detected the movement of small groups of the Ukrainian armed forces moving towards the Russian-occupied Kupyansk.

„After receiving the command, the crew of the “Msta-S“ self-propelled artillery mount moved to a firing position. The targeting and correction of fire was carried out using a reconnaissance drone,“ the Defense Ministry added.

On Monday, a source from the Joint Force Group denied Ukrainian media reports of an offensive by Ukrainian forces in the Kupyansk area.

On November 20, the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Valery Gerasimov, reported to President Vladimir Putin about the "liberation" of Kupyansk. It is a key city for the defense of the Ukrainian armed forces in the eastern part of the Kharkiv region. The Oskol River divides the city into two parts. Its capture allows the Russian army to continue its offensive to the west.
