The Russian missile complex "Oreshnik" has already gone on combat duty on the territory of Belarus. This was stated by the country's President Alexander Lukashenko during a session of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly, TASS reported, quoted by BTA.

„The complex is on combat duty. There is more than one machine - I will not specify the number. The launcher itself was manufactured in Belarus,” Lukashenko said in his speech.

The Belarusian head of state also denied the information that appeared in the media that the missile complex was located in the area of the city of Slutsk.

“Today I read that some madmen abroad claim that we have deployed “Oreshnik” near Slutsk. I don’t want to say where exactly it is located and I won’t, but this is a complete lie. There is no such complex in Slutsk,” Lukashenko said.

The All-Belarusian People’s Assembly is a forum of representatives of all authorities in the country, as well as civil society from all over Belarus. It is considered the highest body of state power in the republic.
