Four miners killed in gas explosion in southwest China

Three others missing

Rescuers have recovered the bodies of four people and three others are missing after a sudden gas explosion at a mine in southwest China's Yunnan Province.

This was reported by Xinhua News Agency, citing the Zhenxun County Government.

According to the agency, the incident occurred on December 24 at around 8:10 p.m. local time in the “Daing“ coal mine.

Search and rescue operations are continuing at the scene of the incident. An investigation has been launched into the cause of the incident.
