The US is ready to strike Iran if Tehran tries to resume its nuclear program. US President Donald Trump said this before his conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
„I hear that Iran is trying to build a nuclear capability again and if that is the case, we will have to stop them. We will stop them. We will beat them. But I hope that doesn't happen,“, Trump said.
The president noted that he would prefer a diplomatic solution to the issue. „I hear that Iran wants to make a deal. If they want to make a deal, it would be much smarter,“, he added.
