China hopes to reach a peace agreement on Ukraine that will address the root causes of the conflict and achieve peace in Europe, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Tuesday.
“Although the road to peace in Ukraine remains thorny and complicated, China is willing to continue to play a constructive role and hopes to reach a comprehensive, lasting and binding peace agreement that will address the root causes of the conflict and contradictions and achieve lasting peace and stability in Europe“, Wang Yi said at a conference on the international situation and Chinese diplomacy in 2025.
