Ukrainian Army: We hit a strategic oil depot in the Russian Penza region

A fire broke out at the site after the strike, the extent of the damage is still being assessed

The Ukrainian Armed Forces hit the "Penzaneftproduct" oil depot in the Russian Penza region, as well as the "Podlyot" radar station, located on the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said today on "Facebook", quoted by Ukrinform, BTA reports.

According to the General Staff, the "Penzaneftproduct" facility was used to supply Russian forces. A fire broke out at the site after the strike. The extent of the damage is still being assessed.

Regarding the "Podlyot" radar station Ukrainian forces clarify that it was deployed by Russian forces near the village of Frunze.

It is also reported that Ukrainian forces have struck Russian military concentrations in Russia's Belgorod region and in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region.

Ukrinform also reported that Russian forces have struck a shopping center in the Kovpavkivskyi district of the city of Sumy today.

Acting Mayor of Sumy Artyom Kobzar announced this on the communication application "Telegram".
