Last night, the Ukrainian side attempted to carry out a combined attack on energy infrastructure facilities in the Bryansk Region, regional governor Alexander Bogomaz said, quoted by RBC.

Air defense units detected and destroyed 18 fixed-wing drones, as well as HIMARS missiles, he reported.

„There were no casualties. As a result of the repulse of the attack in the Bezhitsky district of Bryansk, the windows and facades of two one-story residential buildings were damaged. Emergency services are working,“ Bogomaz wrote on his Telegram channel.

On the evening of January 24, Belgorod regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported the “heaviest shelling“ of Belgorod, probably from HIMARS. The regional governor reported damage to energy facilities, a burning outbuilding, and damaged roofs of two private houses in the village of Tavrovo in the Belgorod region.

Belgorod mayor Valentin Demidov later reported that critical infrastructure facilities were damaged in the shelling. In addition, a fire broke out in the courtyard of a multi-storey building in Kharkovskaya Gora (Khargora), which was quickly extinguished. Demidov specified that after the attack, the pumps of the pumping station, which supplies heat to several homes in Kharkovskaya Gora, were stopped. At 00:47 Moscow time, the mayor announced that they were expected to resume work within half an hour.
