The Ukrainian armed forces are using French and American guided bombs to strike Russian territory. This was stated by military expert and retired captain first rank Vasily Dandykin, quoted by Gazeta, writes Focus.
Dandykin called the weapon "a hybrid between a bomb and a cruise missile, capable of correcting its flight after launch".
"The Ukrainian armed forces have long used both French and American "smart" guided bombs. When dropped from an aircraft, they can fly farther and be guided using special wings. "Our military dropped such bombs every week," he explained.
He stressed that the bombs were usually dropped by American F-16 fighter jets, as well as Soviet aircraft. Dandykin said that Russia also possesses such weapons, which it uses "quite often."
