A Russian citizen was found dead in the resort town of Ubud on the Indonesian island of Bali, TASS reported, citing the media group “Bali Post” (Bali Post), which referred to local law enforcement agencies, BTA reported.
The forty-one-year-old man was found yesterday in a room of one of the hotels with no signs of life.
Last night, police officers drew attention to the lights in the guest's room and upon checking in the morning, they found him lying face down. Earlier, eyewitnesses reported that cries for help could be heard from the room the night before.
According to preliminary conclusions of doctors, the cause of death may be cardiac arrest. No signs of violence or injuries were found at the scene of the incident.
The Russian had lived in this room since June 2025, the department noted.
