"I think we're getting closer to a deal on Russia and Ukraine", US President Donald Trump said today, quoted by Reuters, BTA reports.
He made the statement to reporters in the Oval Office of the White House.
At the same time, the US president confirmed that Iran "wants to make a deal", but did not give details. "We'll see what happens," Trump said.
He also indicated that a large US flotilla of warships had set off for Iran, even larger than the armada that was deployed in the waters of the Caribbean Sea near Venezuela, Reuters added.
"A large armada has set off for Iran, even larger than the one near Venezuela," the head of state announced.
