Delegations of American and Russian representatives held constructive talks on Ukraine in Miami in the United States, Reuters reported, citing Donald Trump's special envoy - Steve Witkoff, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
On the Russian side, the delegation was headed by Kirill Dmitriev, who is an emissary of President Vladimir Putin.
On the American side, in addition to Witkoff, the delegation also included US Treasury Secretary Scott Besant, Trump's son-in-law - Jared Kushner and White House adviser Josh Grunenbaum, Witkoff explained.
"We are encouraged by this meeting, which shows that Russia is working for peace in Ukraine," he said in "Ex" Witkoff, quoted by Agence France-Presse.
