Two people were killed tonight in a Russian drone strike in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro (Dnipro in Ukrainian), Agence France-Presse reported, citing the head of the military administration of the Dnipropetrovsk region, Oleksandr Ganja.
“The attack was carried out at night. A fire broke out, a private home was destroyed, damage was caused to two other houses,“ Ganja wrote this morning on the “Telegram” app. He specified that the victims were a man and a woman.
The attack on the city, which was named Dnepropetrovsk, comes in the context of a pause in Russian airstrikes against the Ukrainian capital Kiev, agreed by US President Donald Trump with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, AFP notes, adding that the agreement expires today.
