Europe has always tried and continues to try to create a rift between Moscow and Washington, considering the policy of US President Donald Trump biased towards Russia at the expense of European interests. This opinion was expressed by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, TASS news agency reported, quoted by Focus.
He stressed that therefore it is difficult to accuse Russia of “driving wedges“ in relations between Moscow and Washington.
Lavrov recalled that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio had also said that it would be a mistake not to use the coincidence of interests between Russia and the US for mutually beneficial projects.
