The Ukrainian negotiating team left for Abu Dhabi today, where a new round of trilateral meetings with the participation of representatives of the US and Russia will be held on February 4 and 5.
This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky in his evening address, writes Evropeyskaya Pravda.
According to Zelensky, the Ukrainian team continues to work with the American side, "so that real solutions can be expanded in the name of peace".
"Today there was a meeting with our delegation - the guys are already on their way. The meetings will be held on Wednesday and Thursday,” the head of state said.
He added that in addition to the trilateral format, bilateral talks with the United States will also be held.
"There is something to agree on, there is content that requires additional work. We are ready for security guarantees. Government officials are working on the restoration and further development of Ukraine, our teams are actively engaged in this", Zelensky stressed.
Earlier on Monday, Zelensky announced that he had set a task for the negotiating team before the meetings with Russia and the United States.
Ukrainian media reported earlier that US President's special representative Steve Witkoff would participate in the next round of talks between Ukraine and Russia on February 4-5 in Abu Dhabi.
