Jeffrey Epstein "had a secret child who was taken from his mother at birth". This is clear from an email allegedly sent by Sarah Ferguson - the ex-wife of Prince Andrew, The Times reports.
Newly released documents suggest the paedophile may have had multiple children, with Sarah Ferguson appearing to congratulate him on the birth of a son in 2011. A message dated September 21, 2011 reads:
"I don't know if you still use this BBM (editor's note BlackBerry Messenger), but I heard from the Duke that you had a baby boy. Although you never kept in touch, I'm still here with love, friendship and congratulations [sic] on your baby boy. Sarah xx", ITVX reports.
If the claims in the email are true, his child would currently be around 15 years old. The email is part of more than three million pages of documents related to Epstein that the US Department of Justice has released.
It is believed that under the name "Sarah" stands Sarah Ferguson — Prince Andrew's ex-wife, who is probably the "Duke" mentioned in the message. Eight minutes later, a second message was sent, further suggesting that Ferguson was the author.
"You disappeared. I didn't even know you were going to have a child. It was crystal clear to me that you were only my friend to get to Andrew. And that really hurt me deeply. More than you can imagine," the message says.
