Russia attacks Kiev with drones

Debris also fell near a shopping mall, and in another place the windows of a kindergarten were broken

Two people were injured overnight in a Russian drone attack on Kiev, Reuters and Ukrinform reported, citing police and the mayor of the Ukrainian capital, Vitali Klitschko, BTA reported.

Klitschko reported on "Telegram" that the attack damaged residential buildings in one district of Kiev, and in another, debris fell on the roof of an office building, causing a fire. Debris also fell near a shopping mall, and in another place, the windows of a kindergarten were broken, he also reported.

In the Solomyansky district, debris from drones damaged the facade and broke the windows of four high-rise residential buildings. A 79-year-old woman was injured and hospitalized. Doctors provided medical assistance at the scene to an 89-year-old woman, police reported on Telegram.

In Darnytskyi district, the facade of a residential building was damaged as a result of a drone strike. In Obolonskyi district, debris from a drone fell on a parking lot, as a result of which two cars caught fire. In Shevchenkivskyi district, a drone hit the roof of an office building, and the resulting fire was extinguished by emergency services.

The regional governor of Kyiv region, Mykola Kalashnyk, reported on Telegram and an injured man in an area around the capital who was hospitalized.

Ukraine's Air Force reported that Russia had fired two ballistic missiles and used 183 drones in its attacks on Ukrainian territory overnight, with the country's air defenses shooting down 156 of them.
