The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the negotiating delegations of Ukraine, the United States and Russia during the meetings in Abu Dhabi agreed to hold the next round of negotiations in the nearest future. The head of state stated this during a joint press conference with the Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk in Kiev on February 5, UNN reports.
In response to a question about the results of the negotiations, Zelensky noted that at the moment of his answer an air raid siren sounded, which, according to him, indicates the absence of agreements to end the war.
"Since an alarm is currently sounding, this means that an agreement to end the war has not been reached. I think this is clear to all of us“, the president said.
He added that regarding the continuation of the negotiations, the parties agreed: “The next meeting will take place as soon as possible“.
According to him, all issues were discussed during the negotiations, but the details are not being disclosed for now due to the sensitivity of the information.
The president also specified that the participants in the negotiations plan to report to him in detail, after which he will comment, having full clarity about the current position.
