Ukraine and Russia have agreed, after the conclusion of the trilateral talks with the United States, to hold further discussions in the coming weeks, NOVA reported.

This became clear from a statement in Abu Dhabi by Kiev's chief negotiator Rustem Umerov.

US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff said earlier that the trilateral talks with Russia and Ukraine were constructive and would continue in the coming weeks.

According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the next round of talks to resolve the four-year war with Russia will likely be held in the United States.

US Envoy Steve Witkoff reported that Ukraine and Russia have reached an agreement on a new exchange of prisoners of war – the first in five months, following the trilateral talks in Abu Dhabi, which he described as productive.

„Today, delegations from the United States, Ukraine and Russia agreed to exchange 314 prisoners – "the first in five months," he wrote in X.

The restoration of the Ukrainian thermal power plant "Darnytska", damaged in the Russian strikes on the night of February 3, may take two months, Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko said on Telegram, BNR reported.

The facility, which provides heating for more than 500,000 people in over 1,100 residential buildings, has suffered significant damage, according to an inspection by experts.

Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the plant has been fired upon five times with ballistic missiles and drones.

Klitschko also announced that more than 60 additional heating stations have been deployed in the capital in areas that have been left without heating in recent days at temperatures below minus 20 degrees.
