Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to meet with US President Donald Trump on Wednesday in Washington to discuss US talks with Iran, Netanyahu's office said today, quoted by Reuters, BTA reports.
The prime minister's office indicated that Netanyahu believes that any negotiations must include restrictions on Iran's ballistic missiles and stopping support for the Iranian "Axis of Resistance".
However, Iranian representatives have ruled out putting the missile arsenal on the negotiating table and insist that Tehran has the right to enrich uranium uranium.
Indirect talks between Iran and the United States on the Islamic Republic's nuclear program were held yesterday in Muscat, the capital of Oman, with both sides saying they expect to continue the talks in the near future.
