The United States will have to resort to "something very extreme" if a deal is not reached with Iran, US President Donald Trump said in an interview with Israeli Channel 12 television today, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
"Either we make a deal or we have to resort to something very extreme", Trump said.
The US president also indicated that he was considering sending a second US aircraft carrier to the Middle East, the Israeli television channel reported.
Trump's comments come amid rising tensions between Washington and Tehran over Iran's nuclear program and the brutal crackdown of anti-government protests in the country, Reuters notes.
