In order to speed up the negotiation process, the possibility of sending a Ukrainian delegation to Moscow for negotiations in person with Russian President Vladimir Putin is being considered. This was reported by the Telegram channel Ukraine context, which is in contact with the head of the Presidential Administration Kirill Budanov, Focus writes.

It is stated that the reason is that the current composition of the Russian negotiating group does not have any influence in the Kremlin and the authority to make important decisions to settle the war. Therefore, the negotiations are actually "stumbling".

According to the Telegram channel, at the last negotiations in Abu Dhabi, a proposal was made to change the venue of the delegations' meeting. It is assumed that this could help to achieve progress in the negotiations.

It is added that the special envoys of the US President Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner could become “guarantors of security“. Suggestions were made that their plane would arrive in Warsaw, where it would pick up the Ukrainian negotiators and fly to “Vnukovo“ airport, after which both delegations would hold direct negotiations with Putin.

“However, the participation of Kirill Alekseevich Budanov, whom the Russian Federation “arrested“ in absentia in 2023“, remains in question,“ the message also states.
