The UK will deploy an aircraft carrier strike group to the North Atlantic and High North in 2026. Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced this while speaking at the Munich Security Conference.
„Today I can announce that the UK will deploy an aircraft carrier strike group to the North Atlantic and High North this year, led by the aircraft carrier „Prince of Wales“, operating alongside the United States, Canada and other NATO countries. This will be a powerful demonstration of our commitment to Euro-Atlantic security,“ said the British Prime Minister.
