The Israeli army has killed an armed Palestinian radical in the Gaza Strip who posed a threat to troops, the army press service said.
“Troops operating in the northern Gaza Strip intercepted a terrorist who crossed the Yellow Line and approached troops, posing an immediate threat to their safety. After identifying him, the troops killed the terrorist to eliminate the threat“, the statement said.
The press service noted that Israeli troops “remain deployed in accordance with the ceasefire agreement“ in the Gaza Strip and “will continue to act to eliminate any immediate threat“.
