Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that he expects the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) to implement existing measures to counter Russian hackers, Ukrinform reported last night, citing a statement by the Ukrainian head of state published on "Telegram", BTA reported.
Zelensky wrote this after a briefing by the acting head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Major General Yevgeny Khmara. The report focused primarily on countering Russian operations and the combat work of the SSU.
"We are also working to strengthen the protection of Ukrainian drone manufacturers: detecting observers, active actions. There was also a report on our cyber operations. The service has developments to counter Russian hackers. I look forward to their implementation and a report on the results," Zelensky stressed.
He thanked the SSU for its work in favor of Ukraine and in protecting Ukrainian citizens.
