F-22 and F-16 fighter jets are currently being moved from the United States and Europe to the Middle East. This is shown by data from Flightradar.
It is believed that more than 10 F-22 aircraft and more than 30 F-16 aircraft have left their bases.
The move comes against the backdrop of a new round of nuclear talks between the United States and Iran, held in Geneva, Switzerland.
In addition, earlier this week Tehran began its military exercises in the Strait of Hormuz. Washington has been seeking to strengthen its military presence in the region in recent weeks as tensions with Iran do not ease.
