Cuba “is not a threat“ to the US, as Washington claims, but a “barrier“ against the entry of drugs into the country, a high-ranking official of the Cuban Interior Ministry said today, quoted by Agence France-Presse, BTA reports.

”Cuba does not pose a threat to the United States”, said Colonel Juan Carlos Poy, military representative and head of the anti-drugs directorate in the Cuban Interior Ministry (Minint), at a press conference. On the contrary, the island is a “barrier in the sea” against drugs that are circulating between South America and the United States, he added.
