Kiev: Geneva talks were difficult but important

Our team is preparing for the next round of negotiations, which will take place in the near future, noted the head of the Ukrainian President's Office

The peace talks between Russia and Ukraine with the mediation of the United States in the Swiss city of Geneva yesterday and today were "difficult but important", said the head of the Office of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky - Kyrylo Budanov, quoted by Reuters, writes BTA.

He added that more talks are expected in the near future.

"The last round of negotiations in Geneva has ended. The discussions were difficult but important", Budanov wrote in a post on the "Telegram" application, accompanied by a photo of the Ukrainian negotiators.

"Our team is preparing for the next round of negotiations, which will take place in the near future," noted the head of the Office of the Ukrainian President.
